Steinberg has updated Cubasis to version 2 bringing great new features that many users asked for a long time – time stretching and pitch shifting.
Since the beginning Cubasis had great user interface with streamlined touch workflow. Comparing to other DAWs and even to Cubase for computer – Cubasis has the most intuitive workflow.
In the new release Cubasis also brought professional Channel Strip with gate, compressor, filters and what’s cool – saturation (tube and tape). So this app is now much better for mixing and can compete in this space with Auria that is also a great Mixing solution because of FabFilter plugins it supports.
Besides that there’s a new dj-style effect and bunch of new sounds – collection of mellotron-like sampled instruments.
Overall, new release brought a must-have features for audio processing and if you are missing some instruments or effects you can always add new audio units or inter app audio/Audiobus – compatible apps.
